REMOVAL OF OVERGROWN LEYLANDII OR FROST DAMAGED HEDGES
All our hedging plants are hardy against frost and we suffered no losses in the 2010/2011 sub-zero temperatures. We provide a service for removing overgrown Leylandii hedges or frost damaged hedges, including shredding. We can replant with a more suitable hedge of your choice up to instant size. This service is available throughout the autumn.
Which Hedge?
We have a selection of plants suitable for formal hedges, which are useful as boundaries and windbreaks. Also grown are taller windbreaks, common and Italian Alder to give an instant windbreak 5 metres tall. Click here for more information on the best type of hedging for your garden.
Larger Plants - Instant Hedging
We specialise in larger hedging plants for an instant effect, ideal for privacy and a mature look. Click here for images of our larger hedging. Mature plants are rootballed to establish quickly and easily. This means that a ball of soil surrounds the roots. The soil is enclosed in netting that biodegrades when planted. For an instant effect, you should use mature hedging plants. We specialise in beech, copper beech, laurel, Portuguese laurel and yew. These all come rootballed.

We have joined forces with Rathwood Home and Garden World to create a unique beech hedging Maze of Ireland.
